The Topic
In this webinar, Leslie will explore imagination, beauty and the role of wonder in organisational life. He will reflect on how awe opens new possibilities beyond instrumental thinking. Drawing on art, nature and embodied experience, he will invite participants to reconnect with creativity and reverence. Wonder will be considered a resource for resilience and renewal. Soul at work will be approached as something that begins when we allow ourselves to be surprised and moved.
The Agenda
In the first half of the webinar, Leslie Brissett will make his presentation and facilitate initial responses.
In the second half, we'll move into a reflection-application session:
- 'Composting': experienced peers work the material in small groups to sprout new ideas;
- 'Weaving': attendees gather to collectively reflect and question, weaving our experiences together;
- Discuss how we will apply learnings to our personal practice and living in a plenary.
The Speaker
Leslie is a member of the Judiciary in England and Director of the Group Relations Programme at the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations and has studied human dynamics in experiential settings in many countries. He is also the Company Secretary at TIHR. Born in the UK, Leslie experiences life as a Citizen of the World.
